John Credland | Tracey Emin and the London Trip 091014

Never been south of the river before. Uncharted territory - found my way to Bermodnsey and the White Cube Gallery and the newly opened (yesterday) Tracey Emin exhibition. hard to take as always but they allow photography for personal and education so I'm showing them here on the basis that you might be encouraged to go and see. Great venue but stinky toilets and no coffee. Coffee establishment across the road offered me a loyalty card based on the F*&^-word and I've thrown it away. There's just too much of that sort of thing? It's no longer clever.
Pictures were challenging. Gouache drawing with a brush in ultramarine. Nice a wobbly. One or two blown up onto canvas and stitched to produce a massive effect. I liked the sculpture where the lion lays down with the lamb - but they are a long way apart on a looooong table - just in case. All these taken with the Casio as the G7x is not yet talking to Lightroom with its raw files. Soon be over.
